Hi Everyone !
We have scheduled the Field Day for Wednesday, August 25th, 2010. Cows & Fish staff will be talking to us about range/riparian health and we will be given the oppourtunity to learn how to do our own health assessments of these types of areas. Tentative plans are to start the workshop in the morning and host a BBQ in conjunction with it. If you have any ideas you would like to share regarding our field day, please feel free to let me know. We will also be looking for volunteers to help with getting things organized for it, and your help would be appreciated. Not only will this be a day for us to learn about range/riparian health .. it is going to be a fun day for us to get together and visit with our neighbors !
The riparian health assessments are scheduled to take place the last week in August. If you are interested in participating please let me know so we can begin making decisions about where the assessments will take place.
I will try and get some more info. posted for all of you about how the assessments will work etc.
I also have copies of the grant agreement .. if anyone is interested in having one please let me know and I can get one sent out to you.
